In July 2008, the World Food Program USA (formerly Friends of The World Food Program) invited Kelly as a US Delegate for the World Food Program USA (formerly Friends of The World Food Program) on a five day journey to remote villages in Nicaragua to observe UN World Food Programme field operations and to lend a hand.

Meet the people who traveled with Kelly and see first-hand, the heart-breaking difficulties the Nicaraguans face, their hope, and the incredible efforts of the UN World Food Programme to help them in Nicaragua – On The Ground.
